First time visiting north fort Myers! Stopped at this plaza for some groceries for the airbnb and ended up going to mucho taco for a bite to take home for the night! Seems very busy! But they got our order down and we were out of there in less than 10 mins! Ladies were as nice as they could be in a rush! Food was BOMB! We got the bistec encebollado , 3 tacos de carnitas y 3 de al pastor!

Great little find on our drive down to Naples. Stopped to get some food on the way and boy did we find the jackpot! Customer service was so nice, spoke both English and Spanish. Food came out very quick, the quality and taste was 10/10. Cute, small little place. Will be back on our next trip down!

The service was amazing, the food was incredible. I ordered three different tacos. (Chorizo, steak and al pastor.) My hubby got an Al pastor plate and chicken enchiladas. We were very happy with each dish. All taco meats were delicious and didn't need salsa.

Best Mexican food we've found in Ft Myers so far and we've tried a lot. First, we are fans of West Coast /Tijuana/Ensenada type Mexican food so this hit the spot. We do not enjoy the Americanized version of Mexican food...if that's your preference, this might not be your place. Tacos with cilantro, onion and a wedge of lime on corn tortillas - yes! The carnitas is excellent! Please add carnitas tacos to your menu! Right now you have to buy the carnitas plate and then they will agree to make tacos for you, but you can't buy a carnitas taco or two. The carne asada tacos were good as well, but the carnitas is really the best. Decent amount of food for the price. Place is tiny and in a dingy strip mall just east of the 75 on Palm Beach Blvd. Most people are ordering in Spanish but you can order in English as well. Each time we've gone there's a line out the door. Easy parking. Not the nicest area, but you'll be fine. Can eat in or take out. When we think about having Mexican food, would much rather spend our money here than most of the other local options. Bonus - they offer the Mexican Coke in the glass bottle that's made with cane sugar. :)

Tiny restaurant. Not too many seats to eat in at. Mostly to go orders. Many options on menu. Delicious smells emanating from the kitchen. Service was pleasant and fast. Food I ordered was great. Fair price for offerings. I can't wait to come back. Enjoy!!!

Located on the north side of Palm Beach Blvd, close to the interstate (strip mall. Between Subway and a Nail salon). Ordered: 2 Chicken Enchiladas 1 Chile Relleno 1 Spicy Pollo a la Mexicana =$48 All entrees came with rice and beans. Wow!! Authentic Mexican food. Out of everything we ordered - I can't even pick one that was better than the other. EVERY entree was a 5/5 and cooked perfectly. My kids, who are typically picky eaters, said this is their new favorite place to eat! My husband also says, "5/5. Definitely my new favorite."

Came here with my wife. We were by the area and saw that this place was packed in the shopping center. We love Mexican food. Not just tex Mexican. We love authentican Mexican food. And this place was as authentic as the Naples area can get! The food was extremely cheap for the amount of food we got. We got a meal and i was able to share with my wife and be extremely full. For only about 13 bucks we got a drink a burrito and two flautas. It was amazing! Again super authentic!! I will definitely come back here with my wife. I cannot believe it took so long to find this place!

We found this place on pure luck - driving down from Tampa to Miami and looking for a quick stop for lunch. It's like Taco Rico but authentic Mexican. It was honestly great!!! We ordered a combo and it was soooo cheap and good. Our combo had a burrito and two flautas. The combo was 10 bucks, brought a drink and it was enough food to share with my husband. Honestly loved this place. Great find ! Would definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Introducing Mucho Taco: A Hidden Gem in Fort Myers

If you're searching for authentic Mexican cuisine in Fort Myers, look no further than Mucho Taco. Nestled in a modest plaza at 4901 Palm Beach Blvd, this vibrant eatery offers a culinary escape into the rich flavors and traditions of Mexico.

Mucho Taco is not just any taco joint; it prides itself on providing a menu brimming with vegetarian options and traditional specialties. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of sizzling meats and fresh spices captures your senses, drawing you into a world of culinary delight. Patrons rave about dishes like the bistec encebollado, the delightful carnitas tacos, and the renowned al pastor—each prepared with care and authenticity.

  • Casual Atmosphere: The ambiance is casual and welcoming, perfect for families, kids, and groups wanting to indulge in delicious food without any fuss.
  • Fast Service: Many customers report quick service, even during busy hours—often receiving their orders in less than ten minutes.
  • Authenticity: The menu features traditional Mexican ingredients and preparation styles, eschewing the Americanized version that permeates many Tex-Mex restaurants.
  • Convenient Amenities: Mucho Taco supports modern dining needs with options for takeout, delivery, and outdoor seating, while also offering catering services for larger gatherings.

Customer reviews speak volumes about the experience. Laura T., who stopped by for a quick bite, stated, "Food was BOMB!" while Jacqueline K. described the service as "customer service was so nice." It's clear that Mucho Taco excels in both food quality and customer care.

But what truly shines is the menu's dedication to delivering authentic flavors. As Lesli S. notes, their tacos come overloaded with cilantro and onion, served on soft corn tortillas that perfectly complement the fillings. And if you have a sweet tooth, the dessert options serve as a delectable finishing touch to your meal.

In a world filled with fast-food chains and commercialized dining, Mucho Taco stands out as a bastion of authenticity. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make it a point to discover this taco haven on your next culinary adventure in Fort Myers.
